Privacy Policy

Rigoriva ("we", "us") provides assessment design and delivery tools for teachers, trainers and institutions at rigoriva.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form) when you create an account.
• Google sign-in: if you choose "Continue with Google", we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google (the openid, email and profile scopes). We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google data.
• Content you create or upload: courses, curriculum documents, learning outcomes, questions, exams, and related settings.
• Student activity: exam responses, scores and timing for assessments delivered through Rigoriva.
• Usage information: basic technical logs (such as browser type and request times) needed to operate and secure the service, and records of AI feature usage to enforce usage limits.

How we use information

• To sign you in and keep your account secure.
• To provide the service: building, delivering, grading and analysing assessments.
• To generate AI suggestions from material you choose to submit.
• To communicate with you about your account, such as invitations and notifications.
• To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Use of Google user data

Information received from Google is used only to create and sign in to your Rigoriva account and display your name and picture within the app. Rigoriva's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Sharing

Your content is visible to you and to people you grant access, such as members of your organization. We use service providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery and AI processing, who process data on our behalf only to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@rigoriva.com. You can also revoke Rigoriva's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Children and students

Students take exams through access codes issued by their teacher or institution. The institution is responsible for obtaining any consent required for its students.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
